We dont know if theres any recognition that they can get for your company but we would like to put an extra acknowledgment for them to you. They have been great. Everyone loved how the pictures turned out, the design was amazing, and she was incredibly good with all the guests. Brad read the crowd so well, dance floor was never empty, he picked ALL the right songs, he took an already amazing day and made the party equally as amazing.

Brett was also such a pleasure to deal with and had everything set up before our guests arrived and stayed late to ensure everything was taken down. He was able to mix in a lot of my requests, while also throwing in some crowd pleasers that kept the dance floor happy. I also loved how happy he seemed the entire time. Our guests are still talking about how great a job Adam did. It was very important for us to have an interactive DJ and he did not disappoint! Secondly, Adam’s professionalism during a few minor power outages allowed for the evening to flow uninterrupted. Bonnie and Tom’s performance was also fantastic. Unfortunately I did not get to hear a lot of what they did perform, however Lance and many other guests appreciated their performance! They did a wonderful job! Your advice in relation to the hand held mic vs the lapel mic was a true benefit. I would have stayed with the lapel mic only to have been disappointed by the unsuspecting wind that could have very well disrupted the ceremony! :) It was truly a pleasure to have your team as part of our wedding. Thank you for making our day complete!

  • I called Outright Entertainment with the hopes of finding a DJ for our Company Christmas Party. I spoke with Austin who had an opening on our date. We were very lucky as the decision to have a party was made last minuet. Austin was fantastic and very professional and helped me to plan the perfect event. Our DJ was Adam and because everything was last minuet, I was a little worried as to how everything would go. Adam was fantastic and kept our group dancing all night. Everything went off without a hitch and I will definitely be calling Outright Entertainment for our party next year. Thanks again to Austin, Adam and his team for a fantastic night!

  • About 9 months ago I started looking for a Wedding DJ. I had gone to a Bridal Event and met a bunch of companies. I booked an appointment with 3 companies and after all 3 I knew that Outright Entertainment was the right choice. I met the Adam at a local coffee shop and he was wearing a professional company branded shirt, had a notepad, and was ready to meet. He was professional, clear, and friendly. We went over the day step by step and he really listened to what I was saying. I told him some of the irregularities of our wedding and he took down clear notes. Closer to the wedding I exchanged emails with the company and the correspondence was prompt. Emails were answered and feedback provided. On the wedding day Adam arrived early and had everything set up. It felt great to not worry about the DJ and set up. Once the dance started Adam did his thing and I will say this, I have never seen the dance floor at any event fill up and stay filled so quickly. The number one feedback my wife and I got from our guests was that the music was the best music ever at a wedding. I can’t say enough great things about Austin, Adam, and the team at Outright Entertainment. They hit every cue, took care of every detail, and all at a really fair price. I highly recommend this company and their services.

  • Now that we are a couple weeks removed from the wedding madness I can sit down and let you know how our event proceeded since. I met up with Brett and his assistant (sorry I forget his name) at the ceremony site at the Canmore Golf and Curling club. He showed up with plenty of time to setup his equipment and run some trial runs. He came prepared with all the song selections ready to go. The only issue was that due to the smoldering heat of the afternoon, his computer was overheating causing the music to skip. Brett handled it like a champion and quickly relocated all his equipment up onto the patio under the awning. After his equipment cooled down, he ran some more tests and they went off without a hitch. The ceremony went smoothly. The lapel mic you provided was awesome as everyone was able to hear our officiant. Once the bride and I arrived at the reception, music was playing and dinner was being served. He played all the right songs at all the right times and we could not have asked for more. When the dance started, that's where we really noticed the skills that he has in regards to reading the crowd. Every song played was a hit with the guests and I don't believe the dance floor was EVER empty... except when poutine was served for the late night snack. I'm pretty sure no DJ in the would could compete against poutine with a bunch of intoxicated people. After snack time it was back to a full dance floor basically all the way until 2:15am until it was time to shut her down. Ps. the request cards were a hit as well!!! I do have to say, the level of professionalism we received far exceeded what we were expecting. His ability to read the crowd and play songs that drew a crowd was amazing. When anyone spoke with him he always portrayed himself and the company professionally and courteously. I don't believe we could have asked for anything more. We are very pleased with the service we got from Brett and would gladly recommend your services to anyone! I'm pretty sure a raise/bonus here would easily be merited. ;)

Not only was he super friendly and professional, (which we already knew from our initial meeting with him) but he played the perfect music for the ceremony, cocktails and reception. We had relatives in their 80's dancing till 1am! Everyone commented on how great the music was during the whole day. The uplighting looked phenomenal in the Alberta Room, thank you for taking control of that for us. The ballroom looked so great in photos.   • We had Adam as our DJ, and he met with us prior to the wedding, and really listened to everything we wanted! Austin made requests happen, like our best man singing our first dance song, and finding a version of a song without words for our niece to sing a surprise song for us! Adam even stepped in and did some MC duties for us, and was amazing, stayed on time and on top of what was going on! Our wedding went amazing and we have been suggesting them to friends and family since! I even requested a list of all the sings played over the course of the night, so we could have a wedding 'playlist' keepsake, and it was accommodated immediately! I would definitely book them again!   • Outright Entertainment is top notch! We hired Outright Entertainment for our wedding this past July (after meeting them at the Bridal Fair and then a follow up interview at our home). Austin was very professional and honest about his business and what he could provide for us for our wedding. There were several emails and telephone calls between us and him with respect to our song list choices and songs that we asked him to be able to provide for our wedding. He was great and very helpful. We worked together with Austin to create a great play list for us and our guests and it was an amazing event. Austin was great on the microphone to introduce specific songs for us, like our first dance, the cake cutting and of course the bridal bouquet and garter toss! Our guests really enjoyed how easy it was to get their song requests played and how interactive our DJ was with them. Not one song on our “do not play” list was played (as promised). We received several compliments from our guests about our choice of DJ and even the hotel’s banquet manager complimented us on our choice and said they would certainly recommend him to their guests for other events. I’m sure several people walked away with contact info for Outright Entertainment. Outright Entertainment is very reasonable with respect to their fees and they also offer several different add-on packages for your event such as lighting, disco balls, and microphones. They seem to have a better offering than several other competitors that we checked out. One of our wedding guests also booked Outright for their upcoming wedding. Overall I found this company and Austin to be very professional, helpful and a great addition to our wedding. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone! Should the need arise in the future for us to have a DJ at an event these would certainly be the people I call…Thank you
